You may think that Brazilian Jiujitsu is a relatively unknown martial art in Singapore. But it’s exactly this new and exciting unknown territory where we find our very own Singaporean champion fighter that is truely worthy of our attention.
Brenden Sim is currently an instructor at the Fight G MMA academy in Singapore. He also represents the Dominance Mixed Martial Arts Team of Victoria, Australia.
Brenden’s achievements include:
2004 Pan-Pacific International BJJ White Belt Champion
2005 Victoria State BJJ White Belt Champion
2005 Machado National BJJ White Belt Champion
2007 SEA Grappling Games BJJ Blue Belt Champion
2007 SEA Grappling Games Submission Wrestling Blue Belt 1st runner up
This year Brenden will be taking part in the Copa De Hong Kong 2 Brazilian Jiujitsu Carnival and the Victoria State Championship, Melbourne Australia. His aim is to ultimately qualify to compete in the World Brazilian Jiujitsu Championship.
Fight Wear Asia admires Brenden’s determination and dedication for excellence.
*Look out for Brenden’s awesome new Bull Terrier Black Art Junkie GI the next time he competes.
