Bio:
Leon Moore hails from Georgetown, Guyana, a country that has spawned numerous world champions including Terrance Alli, Andrew “Six Heads” Lewis, and Gary St. Claire. After suffering two highly controversial losses in the middle of his career, Leon Moore has rebounded to reel off seven straight victories to enter the WBC (World Boxing Council) and WBA (World Boxing Association) world ratings and move within striking distance of a world title. With opportunities for Guyanese boxers limited at best, Moore jumped at an offer to train and fight in Asia, assured of fighting higher quality opposition in quest of the world title. Moore is an electrifying crowd pleaser who carries a big punch while at the same time has all the skills necessary to box when necessary.
Career Titles:
Three time Caribbean amateur champion and bronze medal winner at CAC games, WBC Continental Americas bantamweight title / WBC Caribbean Boxing Federation (CABOFE) bantamweight title, North American Boxing Association (NABA) bantamweight title and Guyanese national champion.
